Four things to consider before building a home

Bought a lot or land and looking to build a home? It is important to do your research so that you can make informed decisions. 

  1. Septic Systems

  2. Technology/Internet Access

  3. Land Regulations and Zoning Restrictions
    Land and lots may have regulations regarding what the property can be used for and restrictions on the property based on zoning.  Be sure to know what these regulations and restrictions are for your property before you buy the land, and especially before you build your home. 
     
  4. Permits
    Many counties require permits before construction begins.  Be sure to apply for your permits early so you are ready when you begin the construction process.
