Reggie began his Farm Credit career in 1982 serving as a branch manager at the East Carolina Farm Credit in Swan Quarter, North Carolina. In 1985 he transferred to the Farm Credit Bank of Columbia (AgFirst) serving in various credit administration and audit positions until 1992 when he joined Farm Credit of Central Florida as Area Vice President.
From 1997 to 2007 Reggie served as Senior Vice President and Director of Agribusiness Lending. In this position he managed the Association’s Commercial, Corporate, Capital Markets, and Crop Insurance lines of business. He also was responsible for the Association’s investments portfolio. Reggie has served in his current position since early 2008.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance from East Carolina University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida Southern College and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Reggie is also a graduate of the Wedgeworth Leadership Institute at the University of Florida. He serves on the Executive Committee of the AgFirst Farm Credit Council. Reggie is a member and past president of the Plant City Rotary Club, has served as treasurer and board member of both the Plant City Chamber of Commerce and the Plant City Economic Development Council.
Scott began his Farm Credit career in 1994 as a Loan Officer at the South Central Farm Credit in Sandersville, Georgia. In 1997 he transferred to the AgFirst Farm Credit Bank serving in various finance and credit positions until 2000 when he joined Farm Credit of Southwest Florida as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial & Investment Officer.
In 2005, Scott left the Farm Credit System to take the CFO position at a private Agribusiness and Venture Capital firm in Orlando, Florida.
Scott returned to the Farm Credit System in 2009 as the CFO for Farm Credit of Central Florida. In his current role as the Chief Operating Officer, Scott is responsible for all operating activities within the ACA such as finance, lending, credit administration, portfolio management, and risk management. Scott holds a B.S.A. in Agribusiness from the University of Georgia and a M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
Scarlet is a native of Virginia where she began her career in public accounting before relocating to central Florida in 1987. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy.
Scarlet is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. She holds an active Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Florida. Her 10 plus years of public accounting experience includes financial reporting, auditing, and tax. Prior to joining Farm Credit, Scarlet was the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary-Treasurer of a privately held, vertically integrated global agribusiness. During her seven year tenure with the company, she was responsible for all accounting functions including department management, tax strategy and compliance, and internal controls. Her duties included securing financing and investment of corporate liquid assets. As a member of the strategic management team, she led the development and directed the implementation of strategic business and operational projects. Scarlet has obtained the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation, the CRMA (Certified Risk Management Assurance), and the CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner).
In her current position as Chief Credit Officer, Scarlet is responsible for the Association’s loan administration including credit analysis, loan processing, prior approvals and recommending loan actions to the loan committee. She serves as Chairperson of the Loan Committee and Chairperson of the Credit Policy Committee.
Born and raised in Lakeland, FL, Annie began her Farm Credit career in 2011 as Farm Credit of Central Florida’s Controller, and in September 2016 joined the strategic leadership team as the Chief Financial Officer.
She is a Certified Public Accountant who practiced public accounting for five years before joining Farm Credit of Central Florida. As CFO of Farm Credit of Central Florida, Annie is responsible for the management of all areas of the Association’s financial operations including accounting cash management operations, financial reporting and internal controls, and financial and capital planning.
Annie graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and earned a Masters of Accounting from the University of North Florida. She is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
Jeff is a native of Dade City, FL. He began his career with Farm Credit of Central Florida in 1997 as a Senior Credit Analyst in the Agribusiness Lending Group.
Jeff attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance as well as his Master of Science degree in Food and Resource Economics.
Jeff is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Jeff has served various roles in credit analysis and lending throughout his 22 years with the Association and in his current position he is responsible for the Association’s lending unit.
Johan began his career in the financial services industry in 1996. He served in a variety of roles within the industry including retail banking, commercial banking, underwriting, and loan origination.
In 2007, he began his career at Farm Credit of Central Florida serving in roles as a commercial loan officer, Chief Relationship Manager, Special Assets Manager, investment portfolio manager, and Director of Capital Markets. In 2015, Johan left the Farm Credit System to take a position at an Agribusiness lending group in California. In this role, Johan was responsible for loan originations across the Southwestern United States.
In 2018, Johan returned to his Lakeland roots at Farm Credit of Central Florida. Johan is currently the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer where he is responsible for digital strategy, marketing, and sales management. A graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, Johan holds a B.S. in Organization Management and Finance from Warner Southern College and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
Dawn Tuten of Lithia, Florida joined Farm Credit of Central Florida in June 2005 as a Paralegal in the Agribusiness Lending Group, and received her Paralegal certification from Erwin Technical College.
In 2011, Dawn transferred from the lending group to the Human Resources department.
In Dawn’s current role as Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary she is responsible for the management of all Human Resource functions and serves in direct support of the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.
W. Rex Clonts, Jr.
Rex Clonts, Jr, Chair, is a citrus and vegetable grower and serves on the board of Citizens Bank of Florida. He is also past President of Seminole County Farm Bureau 2013 - 2015, 2019-20. His principal occupation and employment for the past 5 years was with Clonts Groves, Inc.
Keith D. Mixon
Keith D. Mixon is a citrus grower and past Chair of the board of the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association. He and his family owned and operated SunnyRidge Farms prior to being sold to Dole Food Company, he then served as President of Dole Berry Company. Mr. Mixon is the Chair of the Association’s Audit Committee and also serves as the Association’s representative on the AgFirst Nominating Committee. His principal occupation and employment for the past 5 years was self-employed farmer.
Daniel T. Aprile
Daniel T. Aprile was elected to the Board in April 2019. Mr. Aprile is the Manager of Golden A Cattle Company, LLC and Aprile Farms, Inc. located in Tampa. Mr. Aprile is a member of the Hillsborough County Independent Oversight Committee and on the Hillsborough County Economic Development Council. His principal occupation and employment for the past five years was with Golden A Cattle Company, LLC and Aprile Farms, Inc.
Robert M. Behr
Robert M. Behr was elected to the Board in April 2019. Dr. Behr is the CEO of Citrus World, Inc. and its subsidiaries, a citrus growing, processing and marketing organization. Dr. Behr is also a member of the CoBank board of directors. His principal occupation and employment for the past five years has been as the CEO of Citrus World, Inc. and its subsidiaries.
Jenny R. Black
Jenny R. Black has served on the Board since 2014. Mrs. Black is a partner in multiple citrus growing operations and is a member of Peace River Packing, a citrus growing cooperative. Mrs. Black has more than 20 years experience in the Information Technology field and her primary employment since 2008 has been managing her own IT consulting practice. Jenny Black Consulting, LLC serves clients in the transportation and agriculture industries. Mrs. Black was elected to the AgFirst Farm Credit Bank Board in August 2018. Mrs. Black also serves on the Polk County 4-H Foundation Board, the Advisory Board for Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (VISTE), and the Board of Trustees at All Saints Academy.
C. Dennis Carlton, Sr.
C. Dennis Carlton, Sr. is a cattleman, citrus grower and real estate broker and serves on the Agricultural Economic Development Council of Hillsborough County. His principal occupation and employment for the past 5 years was self-employed rancher.
Reed C. Fischbach
Reed C. Fischbach is a real estate broker specializing in sales, development and management of agricultural land. Mr. Fischbach serves on the Brandon Regional Hospital Board of Trustees. His principal occupation and employment for the past 5 years was with Fischbach Land Company.
William L. Klinger
William L. Klinger was elected to the Board in April 2019. Mr. Klinger is the Treasurer of Lake Brantley Nurseries, Inc., an ornamental horticulture nursery with over 240 acres across multiple locations in two states and headquartered in Center Hill Florida. Mr. Klinger is the past State President of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association. His principal occupation and employment for the past 35 years has been with Lake Brantley Nurseries.
Randy L. Larson
Randy L. Larson was appointed to the Board in December 2016 as the Association’s second Outside Director. Mr. Larson is currently the Chairman of the Board for the Tampa Sports Authority. He is a licensed professional engineer, a registered general contractor in Florida. His principal occupation and employment for the past 6 years was with R Larson Company.
David A. Mereness
David A. Mereness was appointed to the Board in March 2016 as the Association’s Outside Director. Mr. Mereness is the Managing Partner of Dearolf & Mereness LLP, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certificated Public Accounts and on the board of the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives. His principal occupation and employment for the past 5 years was with Dearolf & Mereness LLP.
Randall E. Strode
Randall E. Strode was elected to the Board in April 2016. Mr. Strode is the Vice President of AgriStarts, Inc. a cloning tissue culture operation in Apopka, FL. I am the founder of Agri-Starts, Inc. and been there for 36 years.
