Board of Directors Re-Elected at 2021 Annual Meeting

Lakeland, FL (August 30, 2021) –  With COVID-19 cases on the rise again, Farm Credit of Central Florida held its 2021 Annual Meeting virtually on July 13, 2021. This is the second year in a row that public health concerns have forced the meeting to be held in a virtual format.

The annual meeting is a business meeting to provide Association updates and provide eligible stockholders the opportunity to vote for the individuals to serve on the Farm Credit of Central Florida board of directors, as well as the individuals who will serve on the nominating committee for the upcoming year. 

Subsequent to the online event, director elections were held by mail-in ballot. The following seats have been certified by Raulerson, Castillo & Company, which served as an independent tabulator.

Director Position #1 - Jenny R. Black, re-elected, term expires 2024
Director Position #2 - W. Rex Clonts, Jr., re-elected, term expires 2024
Director Position #3 - Robert M. Behr, re-elected, term expires 2024

Also, during the meeting, the following member-borrowers were elected to serve on Farm Credit of Central Florida’s Nominating Committee until the 2022 Annual Meeting:

 Harold Ray Clark
 Carl R. Grooms
 Kyle R. Story

The following member-borrowers were elected as alternates for Farm Credit of Central Florida’s Nominating Committee until the 2022 Annual Meeting:

H. Paul Bellinger
Ronald E. Gainey
William M. Lennon, Jr.

We are excited to have these board members back to serve another term,” Reggie Holt, Farm Credit of Central Florida President and CEO said. “These leaders have brought a wealth of knowledge to the agricultural industry and will continue to make a positive impact for the board and the Association." 

Farm Credit of Central Florida is a member-owned cooperative serving 13 Central Florida counties, including Polk, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Sumter, Lake, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Volusia, and Brevard. Part of the nationwide Farm Credit System established in 1916, Farm Credit of Central Florida provides loans, leases, and crop insurance to over 1,000 farmers, ranchers, growers, and rural homeowners.
