Farm Credit of Central Florida, a Lakeland based agricultural lending cooperative, recently announced the promotions of Brittany Lopez and Melissa Rumore.
Brittany Lopez was promoted to Assistant Director of Credit Administration. She has worked within the credit department at Farm Credit of Central Florida for over seven years which exposed her to a variety of credits, including some of the Association’s most complex commercial accounts. In her new role, Lopez will report directly to Chief Credit Officer Courtney Eelman.
“Brittany’s experience and leadership qualities make her the perfect candidate for this position,” Eelman said. “We are excited to promote and retain dedicated individuals like Brittany.”
Loan specialist Melissa Rumore’s promotion will give her additional responsibilities within the support staff department. In addition to her current duties at the Lakeland office, she will cover other service centers as needed and begin assisting with residential loans. Rumore has been with the association for almost eight years.
Farm Credit of Central Florida serves approximately 1,000 farmers, ranchers, growers and homeowners in 13 central Florida counties including, Polk, Citrus, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lake, Sumter, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Brevard with over $1 billion in outstanding loan volume.
